What Mirgent tracks

Each metric is platform-aware: a like on Twitter doesn't count the same as a save on Instagram. Mirgent normalizes and surfaces the engagement signal that actually correlates with revenue.

Engagement Rate

Likes + comments + shares + saves divided by reach. Per-post and rolling-30-day. Compare your rate against your platform median to see if you're punching above weight.

Reach & Impressions

Where the data comes from

Mirgent's analytics aren't synthesized — they're pulled directly from each platform on a 24-hour cadence (or 1-hour for Pro and above).

  1. Browser-session ingestion

    The same extension that posts your content also reads the analytics dashboard on each platform. Native numbers, no third-party API approximations. If Twitter shows you 1,247 impressions, Mirgent stores 1,247.

  2. Daily snapshots + diff tracking

    Each day, Mirgent snapshots every connected platform's metrics. Storing the raw history means you can later drill into any date range — not just "last 7 days" — and watch trends over time.

  3. Cross-platform normalization

    Engagement on Twitter ≠ engagement on LinkedIn. Mirgent normalizes per platform's typical baseline so you can fairly compare "how is X content performing on Twitter vs Instagram?" without apples-to-oranges weirdness.

  4. Analytics Agent weekly digest

    Every Sunday, an AI agent reads the past week's data and emails you 3 things: top-performing post, biggest negative anomaly, and one specific recommendation. Skip the dashboard if you want; the digest catches what matters.

Analytics FAQ

How fresh is the data?

Free plan: 24-hour delay. Pro: 1-hour delay. Agency: 15-minute delay. Real-time isn't possible because most platforms don't expose minute-level engagement counts to authenticated users.

Can I export reports for clients?

Yes — CSV on Pro, PDF + CSV with white-label branding on Agency. PDF includes your logo, client name, date range, and a summary AI commentary. Designed to drop straight into a client portal or email.

What about historical data — how far back can I see?

Mirgent stores from your signup date forward. We can't backfill data from before you connected the account because most platforms don't expose retroactive analytics. Free retains 3 days, Creator 30, Pro 90, Agency 365.

Are these real numbers or estimates?

Real numbers, pulled from each platform's native analytics. We don't estimate, model, or extrapolate. If a platform shows you a vanity-only metric (e.g. Instagram "impressions"), Mirgent passes that through as-is rather than inventing a different number.

Does Analytics work without the Chrome extension?

No. The same extension that posts also reads analytics. If you want analytics-only without posting, the extension still has to be installed and logged into your accounts — but you can leave the rest of Mirgent unused.
