Reach mechanics on Instagram changed in 2024-2025; here's what actually moves the needle now.
- Carousels outperform single images 3-5×. Mirgent's auto-crop handles all 10 slides; just upload the full set and it formats per the algo's preference.

Do I need a business account?
No. Mirgent posts via browser session, works on creator, business, and personal accounts. Some advanced features (Insights API) require business account, but core posting works on any account type.
Can I schedule Stories?
Stories are on the 2026 roadmap (Q2). Currently Mirgent supports feed posts, Reels, and carousels. Stories require a different upload pipeline due to the 24-hour expiration.
Will my Instagram account get flagged?
Defaults are engineered to mimic human behavior: max 25 posts/day, randomized 60-180s delays between actions, no duplicate captions, no follow-spam patterns. You'd have to deliberately raise limits to risk a flag.
Does Mirgent work with Instagram Shopping?
Shopping product tags require the Meta Business API. Mirgent doesn't support them yet, for product-tagged posts, use Meta's native Creator Studio. Mirgent covers everything else.
